443ID Raises $8M in Seed Funding

443ID, an Austin, Texas-based identity and access management open-source intelligence cybersecurity company, raised $8m in seed funding.

The round was led by Silverton Partners and Bill Wood Ventures.

443ID was co-founded by Mark Batchelor and Stephen Shoaff in 2021. The technology allows users of popular access and identity management platforms to use OSINT to make context decisions about outside risk and how to register, verify and authenticate. Through API integrations and key IAM platform integrations, the platform makes OSINT data available at login speed.

The company will use the funds to hire specialists in the areas of identity and access management as well as cybersecurity and open-source intelligence (OSINT), to create its OSINT identity graph that powers its first products, OSINT Risk and SignalPrint.
