The VIVO S15 Series design has been teased and revealed by the company

After many leaks and rumors, Vivo is finally ready to introduce the Vivo S15 series in China. This week will see the release of the Vivo S12 Series smartphones. Vivo will tease the smartphones for a few days before they are released, as per usual. Today, the company’s latest teaser comes to confirm the design of the upcoming smartphone. Vivo today shared an “official render teaser image”. It also confirms that the Vivo S15 Series will include an aviation-grade aluminum straightedge frame. The frame will be made of aluminum and is aircraft-grade. tease highlights the smartphone’s design in a blue colorway.

The company confirms that the Vivo S15 series will feature a curved display panel at the front, in addition to the aluminum frame and color. Of course, we can’t affirm if this “premium design” will be present on both variants. The duo is expected to have the same OLED type of display. The screen has a 60 degree curved edge and the corners are rounder.

As per previous leaks and TENAA listings, the base Vivo S15 will pack a 6.62-inch OLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution. The panel will be available with either a 90 Hz and 120 Hz refresh rate. The still-excellent Snapdragon870 SoC will provide excellent performance. The smartphone will have a 4,580mAh battery and support for fast charging at 80W. The base model will measure 8.54mm thick.

This model of the VivoS15 Pro will sport a smaller 6.56 inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will measure 7.99mm thick. The Vivo S-series is always focusing on sleekness and style so it’s not a surprise to see the device’s design focusing on thickness. The Vivo S15 Pro will have a smaller 4,400mAh battery and the same 80 W fast charging. Honestly, we’re wondering what makes this device the higher-end one. It is also believed that the device will come with the Snapdragon 870 SoC. So, everything that makes it a “Pro” is inside the camera department. According to reports, the Vivo S15 Pro features a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor and optical image stabilization.

The official launch of the Vivo S15 series is scheduled for May 19, more precisely. While the lineup will initially be released in China, we could see them expanding to other markets very soon. They may be rebranded as Vivo V25 once they reach certain markets, such as India.

The new smartphones are available in Black, Gold and Blue colors. They’re leaving the wide-notch solution behind in favor of a fancier punch-hole. The duo of devices will join the Vivo S15e which packs the Exynos 1080 SoC.
