African startups invited for the FT x Cardano Blockchain Challenge

The FT x Cardano Blockchain Challenge aims to source ventures working on Cardano or interested in leveraging Cardano’s community and blockchain platform. Selected ventures will have access to a boot camp, and an accelerator programme.

The FT x Cardano Blockchain Challenge is a partnership between Cardano’s Project Catalyst a community and group that experiments on self-governance in order to grow the Cardano cryptocurrency. Seedstars, a Switzerland-based group with the mission to impact people’s lives in emerging markets through technology and entrepreneurship and Financial Times, one of the world’s leading business news organisations.

It is intended to invest in ventures that have the potential to grow into high-growth businesses and to support entrepreneurs who are developing or aiming to develop blockchain solutions using the Cardano public Blockchain platform. Participants will have access to the tools and methods necessary to scale and gain traction for their blockchain solutions.

A bootcamp will be held over three days, with fifty startups selected. 24 of the shortlisted entrepreneurs will then be selected to participate in an accelerator program. The Seedstars International Investor Fund will short-track a global winner. Sign up now if you are interested here.
