Elloe is a US-based social commerce startup that focuses on Kenyan and emerging markets. Today, Elloe announced that they had raised pre-Seed funding in an undisclosed amount.
Elloe’s new funds will allow it to grow its local Kenyan operations, and help fuel growth into the Philippine market and Southeast Asian markets through 2023.
Investors for the round were led by Philippines’ Mad Ventures, Inc.
Elloe, which was co-founded in 2013 by Abhijay Raho, Owen Sakawa, and Aaron Madolora is an AI-powered, social commerce platform that allows merchants and buyers to buy and sell products online through any messaging platform.
Elloe’s technology increases sales and profitability of businesses by simplifying operations, logistics, payments, and marketing within a centralized merchant portal.
This subscription service is particularly useful for micro-SMEs that wish to sell products and services online, without paying high commissions to un-essential third parties.
