Alerzo Limited, Nigeria’s leading business-to-business e-commerce platform, has launched Veedez, a business management app designed to support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with easy-to-use bookkeeping and inventory tracking systems.

Veedez is an app that supports small business owners, such as creators, freelancers, and retailers. It allows them to record inventory and invoice inventory. You can also send invoices faster and get quicker payments.

The new app allows business owners to save time, get paid quicker, and manage their business more efficiently and stress-free using their smartphone. Adewale Opaleye is the Chief Executive Officer at Alerzo. He stated that Veedez will help MSMEs keep their businesses in control by assisting with effective store management and providing insight needed to make informed business decision.

MSMEs can create professional invoices and send them to customers with Veedez. They can also record and receive payment for goods instantly using any preferred payment method, such as cash, card, POS, or bank transfer. Veedez can help business owners increase their business management skills as well as drive business growth. Veedez provides vital information and insights that will enable them to scale up their businesses.,” Opaleye said.

According to a survey conducted by the National Bureau of Statistics and the SME Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), there are tons of challenges clogging the growth of the MSME sector in Nigeria, despite contributing almost 50% to the country‘s GDP and responsible for employing over 86% of the total national workforce.

For example, many MSMEs still use traditional methods such as pen and papers. MSMEs still use pen and paper to track their inventory and bookkeeping. This is inefficient, error-prone and easy to misplace. These business owners cannot track their sales consistently and analyze their business performance.

This is where the Veedez app comes in. It helps MSMEs to improve their visibility by digitally managing their stocks, sending invoices and tracking transactions.

Opaleye noted that the Veedez app reinforces Alerzo’s mission of using technology to transform local businesses, and the company will continue to support small enterprises with the right digital tools.

Veedez is currently free to download from the Android and iOS app store.
