Arima Genomics Closes $7M Series B Financing

Arima Genomics, San Diego, CA-based 3D genomics solution provider, e.t.c., raised $7M in Series A funding.

Genetron Health, Tech Coast Angels and Hiaqua Investments led the round. Participation came from Agilent Technologies and Vectr Ventures.

The company plans to use the funds for expanding its product portfolio and bioinformatics capability to serve a wider range of scientific and translational medicines applications. It also intends to scale the company to increase operational and commercial capabilities worldwide.

Arima Genomics’ CEO Siddarth Selvaraj is leading the advancement of life sciences research using 3D genomics. The company provides access to every genome’s structure and sequence. Advanced technologies are used to preserve and present the genetic structure of the genome. This is a key component in driving discovery in human genome biology.

Arima Genomics’ technologies provide three-dimensional information about the genome. These technologies allow researchers to connect DNA sequence with structural data and provide new insights into biology that are essential in a wide range of applications.
