Assent Compliance raises $350M in funding

Assent compliance is an Ottawa-based supply chain sustainability management firm. It raised $350M.

Vista Equity Partners led the round. Assent was valued at over $1 billion. The company is still owned by Volition Capital and First Ascent Ventures. StepStone Group remains an investor. An ownership stake remains with the founders and the leadership team.

The company plans to use the funds for its SaaS platform, including supporting sustainability/ESG capabilities. It also intends to expand its global footprint in Europe through expansion plans. It will also hire key positions in sales, marketing, engineering and customer success.
