Bakkt Adds Two Female Board Members to Strengthen Diversity

Bakkt Holdings (BKKT), a digital asset platform, has added two female directors to increase its diversity. press release on Friday.

The U.S.-based company added to its board De’Ana Dow, partner and general counsel at Capitol Counsel LLC, and Jill Simeone, chief legal officer and corporate secretary at Etsy (ETSY).
Bakkt Holdings now boasts four female board members. total of 10.

Dow will bring her experience on regulatory issues and financial markets to the Bakkt Board. Dow was a senior lawyer and policy-maker at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission for more than 20 years.
The press release stated that Simeone’s experience includes governance, executive compensation and risk management. Since 2005, Simeone has been Etsy’s chief legal officer.
