Raises $6.8M in Seed Funding

bit live (Be BroadBand Technologies), a Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of an SDN platform, raised $6.8m in seed funding.

The round was led by Tzvi Neta Holdings LTD, the investment entity of Tzvi Neta, chairman and owner of Automotive Equipment & Vehicles Ltd. Additional investors include telecommunications company Accel Solutions and existing shareholders.

The company plans to use this funding to expand its sales and marketing efforts all over the globe, as well as to continue technological development and to recruit top talent.

Founded by CEO Moshe Levinson and led by Professor David Hay, Head of the Cyber Security Center at The Hebrew University, who held key positions at CISCO and IBM, and Brigadier General (Res.) Danny Harari, former commander of the elite Intelligence Unit 8200, serving as an Executive Director, provides a SDN platform that combines SASE & SD-WAN (Software-defined wide area network) technology with various network security services to allow secure broadband connectivity between offices, branches and remote home offices.

It is the one-stop-shop solution for broadband network providers. It is capable of interfacing to any type of hardware, applications, or cloud provider and has the highest cyber-security. It can be used by organizations to reduce IT overhead, increase performance, transform customer experience, and increase profits.

The company’s business model is tailored to network Service Providers and Operators (xSPs) as value-add resellers (VARs) who deliver the solution to their end customers. has already entered into commercial agreements with global and local SPs (Cellcom Sharaf DG and DIENS) and a partnership with ADVANTECH.

The company currently has 20 employees. Most of these are engineers.
