Kaya Beauty Platform raises $2.6million Seed round

Kaya, an e-commerce company and logistics solutions provider based in KSA, has secured $2.6 million from Revival Lab. This studio is a start-up studio that includes Al-Dowayan Investment Company as well as Al-Sulaimaniya Investment Group.

Kaya began in 2018 with a direct to consumer model. Since then, Kaya has increased its online sales growth by creating and building innovative brands for beauty and personal care. This portfolio now includes more than 5 brands that specialize on skincare and cosmetics like Florucci and Cecilia as well as several online stores such the Aynma one.

Kaya founder and CEO Dr Abdulaziz Bin Saleh Al-Lahidan stated that the goal of the funding round had been to expand the company’s digital infrastructure as well as provide logistic services that will allow us to continue growing and expanding and reach our ambitious goals in the future.

Mr Mohammed Al-Maghlouth, CEO of Revival Lab, stated: “We’re proud to be a partner with Kaya. We are working together with the team to achieve our strategic goals of promoting growth and expansion initiatives in the personal care and beauty sector inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”.

Kaya will use the funds for its digital infrastructure development, logistics services, as well as future expansion and growth plans.
