Brex is a San Francisco-based fintech company that focuses on growing businesses. It raised $300m more in Series D-2 funding.
Greenoaks Capital led the round, as well as Technology Crossover Ventures.
The company plans to use the funds for product development.
Brex, led by Henrique dubugras, is a financial platform that allows growing businesses to combine software, services and products into one experience. This allows them to maximize the power of every dollar so they can focus on their growth without worrying about waste. The company is used by tens to thousands of companies, from small private businesses to large public corporations.
Brex also announced Karandeep Anand’s appointment as Chief Product Officer. Brex is bringing extensive product leadership experience to Anand. He most recently managed Meta’s business products group which was responsible for more than 200 million businesses worldwide. Anand worked for 15 years at Microsoft where he managed the product strategy for Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform and developer platform. Anand will be leading Brex’s expansion of the product portfolio.
Brex was founded in 2017 and has raised $1.2 billion from investors. It is currently valued at $12.3 million.
