Buildots, a Tel Aviv, Israel and London, UK-based construction management startup leveraging AI and computer vision, raised $60M in Series C funding.
The round was led by Viola Growth and Eyal Ofer’s O.G Tech with participation from TLV Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Future Energy Ventures and Maor Investments. Natalie Refuah, General Partner at Viola Growth, will be joining Buildots’ Board of Directors.
The company intends use the funds to expand its solution in support of more workflows within construction teams.
Builtots CEO Roy Danon uses AI and computer vision to create a platform for construction management. It employs hardhat-mounted cameras that capture images of every detail during site visits. The data is then analyzed using AI models to transform random visual data into actionable insights that are correlated with the project’s designs and schedule. Now, the company is expanding its product offerings beyond operational management to also support commercial and planning teams. Two-way integrations to planning platforms Oracle Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or Microsoft Project are available for scheduling. These allow instant timeline updates and save hundreds of hours. It also makes it possible for decision-makers and planners to plan projects. Buildots offers monthly progress reports to commercial roles. These reports validate subcontractor payment requests within seconds. This increases transparency and collaboration in the industry.
Having facilitated construction for residential and commercial projects with major firms like Build Group, Wates and NCC, the company is currently experiencing growth across North America, Europe and the Middle East.
