Canon EOS R5C Price, Specifications and Availability
Canon announced this week the EOS R5C camera. This is a major upgrade to the R5. It has an internal cooling fan, can record unlimited time at 8K/60p RAW, and supports richer video control functions. Official pricing will be 4499 USD.
Canon EOS R5 C inherits an ergonomic design from the EOS series. It features a 45 megapixels 8K full-frame CMOS sensor, DIGICX image sensors, second-generation dual-core CMOS focus and 13 assignable buttons. The extended interface is sufficient to satisfy professional users.
It is important to note that 8K/60p continuous recording requires an external power supply. The camera supports 10bit 422 4K/120p recording but it does not support body stabilization or ND filter. You can only rely upon the lens stabilization components.
According to reports, the Canon R5c can record Cinema RAW Light and XF-AVC 10-bit 4×2:2 video formats, Canon Log 3 support, and synchronized code function. This is in line with professional videography. The camera has 13 buttons that can be customized for your photography needs. It also has an active cooling system and a multi-functional cooling foot.
