Fontinalis Partners, High Alpha and Mercury were the co-leaders of the round. Eve Atlas, Eve Atlas, Mercury and Waybury Capital also participated.
The company plans to use the funds for continued growth of its network, including more native connectivity to transport and supply chain platforms and geographic expansion throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
Led by Brian Glick, Founder and CEO, Chain.io provides a cloud-based platform that handles supply-chain-specific integrations so customers–including 10 of the 15 world’s largest freight forwarders–can focus on their core processes. The company’s pre-built adaptors help shippers and freight companies plug their legacy systems into modern API-based SaaS tools to better manage freight visibility, pricing, and compliance risk, saving them millions of dollars in operating costs every year.
