Clean Crop Technologies Raises $6M in Series A Funding

$6M Series A funding was raised by Clean Corp Technologies, a Holyoke-based company called ‘Energy to Decarbonize Food Production.

The round was led by ReGen Ventures, Trailhead Capital, and MassMutual Catalyst Fund. Previous investors Prime Impact Fund, Innova Memphis, Bread & Butter Ventures, and the Alchemy Fund, as well as new investors Active Impact, DC Thomson Capital, and Middleland Capital’s VTC Ventures also participated.

Dan Fitzgerald, MP at ReGen Ventures, will be joining Clean Crop’s Board of Directors.

The company intends use the funds to scale up and commercialize its core technology in the supply chain.

Clean Corp Tech’s CEO Dan White and COO Daniel Cavanaugh have developed high-voltage catalyst technology. This technology can increase yields, improve food safety and reduce food waste. It is applicable to a wide range of food types, including nuts and seeds, fruits, vegetables, meats and seafoods.
