CloseFactor Raises $4.5M in Seed Funding


CloseFactor, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based sales automation company, raised $4.5M in seed funding.

Sequoia Capital was the leader of the round.

The company plans to use the funds for expansion and to increase its business reach.

Led by Leena Joshi, co-founder & CEO, CloseFactor uses machine learning to deliver customized sales insights about target accounts and buyer personas. CloseFactor combines data, insights, and workflow to create a platform that connects the Go-to Market decision-making of Chief Revenue Officers and Chief marketing Officers to individual account executives and business development representatives engaging with customers. It is currently being used at Zuora and LaunchDarkly as well as Chronosphere.
