Coda Payments Gets $690M In Funding

The $690m funding was raised by Coda Payments, an independent platform in Singapore for digital content monetization.

Backers included Smash Capital, Insight Partners, and Singapore’s sovereign-wealth fund GIC. Apis Partners LLP manages Apis Growth Fund II. Other existing shareholders will retain their equity in Coda as they move forward.

The funds will be used for international expansion by the company.

Coda Payments, led by Neil Davidson as Executive Chairman and co-founder, operates Codashop, an independent source to games and ingame currencies. Coda also offers Codapay that allows digital content publishers the ability to accept the 300+ payment options available on Codashop. xShop is available to allow publishers to distribute their products on a variety e-commerce sites.
