CodeSee, a San Francisco CA-based provider for a solution to the continuous understanding of codebases has raised $7M in funding.
New investors Wellington Access Ventures and Plexo Capital led the add-on seed financing. Existing investors also participated, as did angel investors Adam Gross (former CEO at Heroku) or Window Snyder (former Chief Safety Officer at Square, Intel, Fastly), among others.
The company plans to use the funds for new Maps features, to meet customer demand and to expand its enterprise and team offering.
CodeSee CEO Shanea Leven is the founder and CEO. CodeSee offers interactive code diagrams that allow developers and teams to easily share their codebase knowledge. The company has had thousands of users since its launch in 2021. CodeSee is supported by bold start ventures such as Uncork Capital and Menlo Ventures.
