Credo AI Closes $12.8M Series A Funding


Credo AI, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a Responsible AI (RAI) Governance Platform, closed a $12.8m Series A financing.

Sands Capital was the lead investor, with follow up investments from existing investors Decibel or AI Fund.

The company plans to use the funds for product development acceleration and to strengthen its tech policy function in support of emerging AI standards and regulations worldwide.

Credo AI was founded in 2020 by Navrina Sing and Eli Chen. It uses context-driven governance to assess risk and ensure compliance with AI development and use. The Intelligent SaaS platform enables enterprises to monitor, manage and mitigate AI-related risks on a large scale. AI-first and Global2000s customers span Retail, Finance and Banking, Insurance and Defense, and High Tech.
