Cynergy Bank provides £2.5m of new funding to Faith in Nature

Cynergy Bank provided a loan amount of £2.5m to Faith in Nature Radcliffe’s award-winning brand for natural beauty products in Manchester, namely.

The loan will allow the company to expand their manufacturing and commercial premises. Future sales growth will be possible on the new site.  A larger property means that they can keep Radcliffe while retaining their loyal workforce.

Faith in Nature began trading in 1974 in a cottage. They initially produced plant-based shampoos and face creams. They still sell soap, shampoos, and body washes. Their products are 100% recyclable, vegan and naturally fragranced. They also claim that they are made in the UK. They have over 40 countries stocking their products and they are growing.

The loan had a 12-month interest-only term followed by a repayment plan.

John Allaway, Faith in Nature’s Managing Director, said: “We have been working with Cynergy Bank for a number of years and have found them understanding and collaborative during our challenging journey. It’s good to work with a bank with the same entrepreneurial mindset and with people who put in the extra effort to support the business at the critical pinch points. It feels like we are working in partnership with them.’’

Matt Cross, Relationship Director, added; “I am delighted to support Faith in Nature with loan funding for their new business premises. From my first site visit, it was clear that the company had outgrown its long-standing factory. The business continues to grow and it’s exciting to be involved in this environmentally focused enterprise. This impressive goal is to attain BREEAM Outstanding for their new premises. This considers energy efficiency and sustainably of the build to aim for top 1% within the country.”
