Dagger raises $20M Series A Funding

Dagger raised $20M Series A Funding, a San Francisco-based provider of a cloud platform that orchestrates application delivery to the cloud.

The round was led by Redpoint Ventures with participation from Y Combinator, Nat Friedman, Brian Stevens, Idit Levine, Julius Volz, Ellen Pao, and Daniel Lopez. Erica Brescia of Redpoint will join the Dagger board.

The company plans to use the funds for its staff growth and to continue to develop its product in collaboration with the open-source community.

Founded by Solomon Hykes, Sam Alba and Andrea Luzzardi, Dagger provides a devops operating system that gives teams complete control over their software supply chain. Developers have one platform that allows them to access a portable devkit which streamlines the development and deployment of CI/CD pipelines.
