Qureos is a UAE-based tech startup that specializes in education. It raised $3 million in its preseed round, which was led by COTU Ventures. Colle Capital participated with global and regional investors such as Globivest. Plutus21 Capital, Dubai Angel Investors and AlZayani Venture Capital. Several angel investors also took part in the round.
Queros was established in August 2021 by Mehrad Yuaghmai, Alexander Epure, and Usama Nii. Their mission is to promote mentorship and help accelerate careers.
“We believe that new learning models like Qureos, which combine cohort-based, synchronous education with community, are going to become more mainstream and disrupt traditional players. We’re excited to be a part of this journey and see the team’s vision of upskilling talent become a reality,” Amir Farha, Founder and Managing Partner at COTU Ventures, said.
Qureos has created an experiential learning community that aims to improve the way people learn, connect and collaborate. Through cohort-based learning pathways led by industry experts, Qureos is helping people from more than 127 countries to acquire in-demand skills that are compatible with the needs of its business partners.
Qureos will use the investment to expand product-led operations, and to hire talent for its offices in India, Pakistan, and UAE.
