Egyptian Startup Instabug secures $46M in Series B Funding

Instabug, the premier mobile tracking, crash, and bug reporting tool for mobile teams, secured $46 million in a Series B fundraising round led by global software investor Insight Partners, with participation from current investor Accel and new investors Forgepoint Capital and Endeavor.

Instabug will use this funding to fulfill its mission of providing issue transparency and performance data to engineering team members, as well customer insights and direct user inputs to product teams.

Instabug is creating its first mobile observability platform and performance monitoring platform. It also has existing preemptive issues detection, sophisticated debugging, alert management capabilities, and advanced bugging capabilities.

Today’s digital brands and services are progressively expecting purpose-built mobile solutions that enhance their goods and experiences, according to Ganesh Bell, Managing Director of Insight Partners.

Since the firm has handled mobile as a first-class citizen since day one, and its leadership has a thorough awareness of the challenges encountered by mobile-focused/mobile-first organizations and developers, Instabug is well-positioned to dominate the emerging mobile app observability and monitoring field.

Technology has enabled application observation. App observability provides mobile developers with unique insight into the performance and efficiency of their apps.

If you’re a developer, you’ve probably experienced the frustration of a difficult crash for which you can’t find the cause.

Observability gives you valuable insight into the state of your application. It also gathers more detailed data that can be used to assist users in resolving issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Application observability solutions provide more detail about every crash such as session profiles, repro steps and network logs. This makes it easier to find and fix problems quickly and efficiently.

The Observability tool can be used to help users determine how many individuals were impacted by a collision and which segment. Users can then prioritize the problems and identify how each crash affected them.

This is exactly what Instabug does. Instabug plans on upgrading its platform and expanding into new markets.
