Endel Raises $15M In Series B Funding

Endel, a sound wellness company based in Berlin, Germany, has raised $15M through Series B funding.

Waverley Capital led the round with True Ventures participating.

The company plans to use the funds for further development of its patented technology, to improve the ecosystem of applications, and to expand the collection of personalized soundscapes.

Endel’s CEO is Oleg Stavitsky. Endel runs an ecosystem of AI-powered apps across multiple platforms that create soundscapes for people to focus, relax, and go to sleep. Its patented technology takes inputs from the user’s movement, time of day, weather, heart rate, location, and other factors. AI is used to create personalized soundscapes which adapt to the user’s changing environment. It’s available for iOS, Android, Mac and Amazon Alexa. Album releases can be found on DSPs.

The company also launched a new Wind Down soundscape, in collaboration and with James Blake, the GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter-producer.

Co-Founder, Chairman, and General Partner of Waverley Capital, Edgar Bronfman Jr., and CEO and co-founder of Wave, Adam Arrigo, joined True Ventures Partner Kevin Rose on Endel’s board.
