Splunk Ventures offers Ermetic an investment

Ermetic, Splunk Ventures, Splunk Inc’s corporate venture capital arm, made a strategic investment in a Tel Aviv-based cloud infrastructure security firm.

This follows Ermetic’s recent $70M Series B round of financing led by Qumra Capital with participation from new investor Forgepoint Capital and participation from existing investors Accel, Glilot Capital Partners, Norwest Venture Partners and Target Global.

Ermetic will be able to increase the capabilities of its integrated Cloud Infrastructure entitlement Management (CIEM), as well as cloud security posture management platforms (CSPM), in order to meet future and current customer requirements. Splunk will be working with Ermetic to enhance its product integration and partner relationship to improve customer value.

Shai Morag is the CEO. Ermetic has created a cloud security platform for AWS and Azure that allows organizations to detect threats and reduce their blast radius, thereby reducing their vulnerability to attack. It includes everything you need, including full-stack visibility, actionable risk information, remediation, anomaly detection, and compliance.
