Expertia AI Raises $1.2M in Seed Funding

Expertia AI, a Bengaluru, India-based deeptech virtual recruitment platform, raised $1.2m in seed funding.

Endiya Partners and Chiratae Ventures led the round, with Entrepreneur First and Archana Pariyadarshini as angel investors.

The company plans to use the funds to build brand and product awareness in India by assembling a team made up of AI Researchers and Software Engineers.

Expertia AI was founded in 2021 by Akshay Guignani, a Research Scholar at IBM and MIT, and Kanishk Shukla, a serial entrepreneur. It offers a solution for SMEs to automatically source and select the Top 10 candidates from a pool from over 25 job boards. Companies are encouraged connect their Expertia Career Page with their company website. This will enable them to instantly find suitable profiles from all available positions.

Today, the company has more than 500 companies and 1000 recruiters. More than 100k professionals use the platform to automate the sourcing and placement of qualified candidates.
