Fleet Device Manager is a San Francisco-based open-source platform for device management that assists developers, security teams and IT professionals to track and secure their company’s servers and laptops. It has raised $5M seed funding.
Backers included CRV and Mike Arpaia, Nico Waisman from Lyft, Greg Martin, Sumo Logic’s Jack Naglieri, Ezra Olubi, Stripe, Sid Sijbrandij, and Nico Waisman.
The funds will be used by the company to expand its operations and business reach.
Fleet Device Management is co-founded and CTO by Zach Wasserman and Mike McNeil. They also serve as CEO and the chief executive officer. The company’s device management platform allows IT and security teams to build trust and get their jobs done better.
It has been adopted and contributed to by IT and security engineers from companies such as Uber, Atlassian and Heroku, Square, Ernst & Young and Wayfair. Fleet allows them to automate, manage, and understand their servers and laptops in real-time.
