Frost attempts to alleviate the costs of living crisis

After being added to the waitlist on May 4, 2022, Frost’s e-money account is now available for the general public and ready to revolutionise the way we manage our money.

After initially opening their app for their first wave of customers, Frost, an intelligent e-wallet provider, has now launched to the public. Over 16,000 people registered to get early access the new emoney offering. It aims at giving users more control over several often tedious financial tasks. Frost is now available for everyone in the UK.   

Recent research shows that the main concern of UK households is the cost of living. 90% are concerned about rising prices.1. The government encourages people to organize their finances. This is a clear indication of the need to save money and time. Frost is designed to address this need with a spend management feature. This notifies and educates users how to better manage their finances.   

“When we asked our network which Frost feature they’re looking forward to most, 73% of respondents said spend management,” stated Frost Chief Executive Officer Pawel Oltuszyk. “They’re excited about finally being able to take control of their finances.”  

Whilst much of the country responds to soaring costs with the ‘Big Power Switch Off’, households need practical and effective tools which can help them tackle the issue without hindering their busy lifestyles. Frost’s Save Assist feature automatically compares a user’s current energy plan with the plans of market competitors. They’re then notified when cheaper deals become available, with detailed insights into each plan. Switching can be done in seconds using the same app. This saves you time on price comparison sites.   

Frost wants to show how intelligent banking app automation can maximize its potential and allow customers to make better, more efficient financial decisions. As a principal member of Visa, Frost’s transactions are also backed by a world leader in digital payments, putting the e-money account right at the forefront of the fintech market.2
