Many Chinese manufacturers have presented their first foldable phones. They are competing with South Korean tech companies in this emerging market.
The word is out that Google is preparing to launch its first foldable device, the Google Pixel Notepad. The Google Foldable phone was spotted earlier this month in Android 12L beta. This gave us a glimpse at the device’s stunning design. Some reports in November suggested that Google had temporarily canceled the Pixel Fold. The rumor mill kept churning out speculations about the purported foldable phone.

The source says that Google never stopped working on its foldable device, contrary to rumors. The source also revealed that the working name of the device is “Pixel Notepad.”
Google isn’t following the Samsung Galaxy Fold’s footsteps. The California-based tech giant is instead looking to replicate the Oppo Find N method. The Oppo Find N technique is what the Google Pixel Notepad might look like. Oppo’s foldable device has wider screens and a narrower aspect ratio than Fold 3. The Pixel Notepad will be similar to Fold 3, according to rumors.
It will also be interesting to see if Google partners up with Samsung Display, or any other manufacturer, to create the foldable panels of the Pixel Notepad. It will likely compete with the Oppo Find N. This means that it will be less expensive than the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 was launched back in August with a price tag of $1799 It is also worth noting that Samsung could launch its first foldable phone under a different name.
