HappyCo Raises $52M in Funding

HappiCo is a San Francisco-based platform for rental property condition data collection and usage. It has raised $52M.

Camber Creek led the round, which also included participation from Berger Rental Communities and Bonaventure, CA Ventures. Embrey Partners, Klein Enterprises. Klein Enterprises. Pier 88, Standard Communities. Vesta Ventures.

The company plans to use the funds for expansion and new services.

HappyCo was founded in Australia by Jindou and Andrew Mackenzie–Ross in 2011. It is a real-estate software company that creates mobile and cloud solutions for real-time operation data for property managers and asset managers, lenders, investors, and lenders. The software suite includes workflow tools and condition assessment tools, as well as in-unit data for more than 3.5 million rental properties. It provides valuable underwriting information for investors, lenders, and asset managers and empowers property managers by providing real-time operational tools, reporting, and reporting.

Current customers include Freddie Mac, lenders such as Walker & Dunlop and Berkadia; real estate investors such as CA Ventures, Maxus Properties, and property managers such Cushman & Wakefield, AMC, and Maxus Properties.
