HealtheMed raised $1.2M in seed funding, a Minneapolis-based company that provides healthcare solutions.
The round was led by Panoramic Ventures and supported by OCA Ventures as well as other private investors, including Bob Schulz, co-founder and Partner Emeritus of Health Enterprise Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to expand awareness of its digital care service offerings that enable the state’s most vulnerable citizens to remain independent longer.
HealtheMed’s CEO Thomas Spencer is the head of the corporation. It provides public benefits to improve the lives and well-being of Minnesota’s most vulnerable populations. With its hybrid platform for telemedicine, the Digital System of Care allows Minnesota Medicaid-exempt clients to have access to their health care from home.
The system combines high technology with remote monitoring and medication dispensing via television. It also provides high-touch nursing guidance and patient training at home.
