Immuta Raises $100M in Series E Funding


Immuta, a Boston, MA-based data access and data security company, raised $100m in Series E funding.

NightDragon was the lead investor. Snowflake Ventures is the venture capital arm for Data Cloud. Other investors include existing investors Dell Technologies Capital (DFJ Growth), IAG, Intel Capital. March Capital. StepStone. Ten Eleven Ventures and Wipro Ventures.

The company plans to use the funds for product innovation, sales growth, marketing and customer success.

Led by CEO Matthew Carroll, Immuta provides a data access and data security platform that enables organizations to discover, protect, and monitor sensitive data so that users can access it – as long as they have the rights. Customers have the option to protect their data in cloud storage at a higher level and enforce data security policies. Immuta has expanded its network of partners to include Snowflake Databricks and Amazon Databricks. In addition, Immuta now integrates natively with Azure, Google, Azure, Starburst and Google Cloud Data Platforms.
