Konvi raised $900K in Pre-Seed Funding, a Berlin, Germany-based pan-European crowd-investment platform that offers alternative asset classes.
The round was led by APX and angel investors like Claire Valoti (Director EMEA Snap Inc), Christoph Roettele, former CEO, Check24), as well as former executives from Shopify and the early-stage VC APX. (Axel Springer Porsche).
The company plans to use the funds for investments in additional assets that are low-correlated to traditional assets.
Konvi was founded in 2020 by Ioana Sudu-Bob and Lena Sonnen. To allow potential value appreciation, the main focus of Konvi is to acquire and sell assets at the highest prices through partners. Konvi’s business model allows every small investor to diversify their financial portfolio with alternative assets such as rare watches, fine wines, or whiskey and, thus, to protect themselves from market volatility. These are just a few of the many investment options available to Konvi’s team. The team also plans on expanding their opportunities in other asset classes like arts, collectible cars or handbags as well as NFTs.
Konvi recently acquired the Cartier XL Tortue High Complication Platinum watch. Only 15 copies were made worldwide. The watch retails at $500K.
