KoRo Raises €50M in Funding


KoRo, a Berlin, Germany-based e-commerce startup for the grocery industry, raised €50m in funding.

HV Capital was the lead, and Five Seasons Ventures joined in. Partech also participated.

The company plans to use the funds for product development, new marketing channels, and further growth of the business and team internationally.

KoRo was founded in Berlin by Constantinos Calios in 2014. It is an eCommerce platform that seeks to establish transparent supply chains. They source ingredients directly from producers, making food more affordable and transparent for customers. The company sells nuts, snacks and other nutritional products as well as baking and cooking products.
