Legion Health secures $2M in Seed Finance

Legion Health, Seed funding was provided $2M to an Austin-based company that develops healthcare technology.

The round was led by Erica Johnson, Ravi Shah, Jeffrey Leerink, Jay Desai, Y Combinator, UpHonest Capital, and Soma Capital.

The company plans to use the funds for its B2B mental healthcare marketplace.

Led by CEO Yash Patel, President Arthur MacWaters, and COO Daniel Wilson, Legion Health provides a marketplace dedicated to solving America’s mental health crisis by connecting mental health professionals to the organizations that need them. Telehealth providers, hospitals, and other health care institutions use the virtual network in order to fulfill their needs for psychiatric, therapeutic, and other services. The company also offers flexibility for clinicians, additional work and access to the best companies within the space.

Currently, Legion Health’s platform has over 800 mental health professionals in all 50 states. The company is constantly evolving to serve its clients, who are mostly tech-enabled healthcare organizations.
