Stable Legion Gaming Performance Y90 and Y700
Recent times have seen Lenovo repeatedly warm-up for a new gaming phone and tablet, the Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor and a smaller-sized tablet with Snapdragon 870 CPU. These devices can produce lower power consumption while still delivering top performance.
Lenovo today released game data for the Legion Y90 stable gaming tablet and Legion Y700 gaming tablet. First, the 120 high frame rate “Honor Of King” test. The Legion Y700 tablet was stable at 119.1fps throughout with a maximum temperature of 36.5degC (room temp 23degC). The Legion Y90 phone maintained a stable speed of 119.8fps with a maximum temperature of 39.2degC. The tablet’s temperature performance was slightly better.
The advantage of the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 was apparent in another open-world game, O GOD (presumably “Original God”) with the Y90 phone achieving a constant 59.2fps compared with the Y700 tablet’s 58.3fps. The Y90 Dual Engine has a better temperature control than the Y700 tablet, which can reach 42.2degC (23degC at room temperature).
Legiongaming phone is 3C certified and supports 68W super-fast charging. It features an active cooling turbofan in the phone, a rear-centered dual-camera lens and a glowing RGB Legion Big Y logo.
The Legion Y700 gaming tablets feature an 8.8 inch, 2560 x 1600p high-resolution screen. It also supports a 120Hz high refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a color gamut of 100% DCI-P3. The release date for the two devices has yet to be announced by Lenovo.
