Loop Raises $25M in Series B Funding

Loop, a healthcare and insurance startup in Pune, India has raised $25M Series B funding.

The round was led by General Catalyst and Elevation Capital, with participation from Vinod Khosla, Khosla Ventures, Optum Ventures and Sierra Ventures.

The funds will be used by the company to expand and accelerate its growth.

Founded in 2018 by Mayank Kale, Ryan Singh, Amrit Singh, and Shami Raj, Loop provides group health insurance plans from prominent insurers to companies, bundled with instant, unlimited primary care. Loop recorded growth for FY 2021-22. The company’s revenue has increased by 5x over the previous year. They now provide health insurance & benefits to 130K+ members at 300+ companies across India. The number of employees in their corporate office has increased from 50 people to 250 over this period.
