Manta, a Tampa, Fla. – based data lineage platform, raised $35 million in Series B funding.
Forestay Capital was the lead investor. Other investors included SAP.io and Senovo Venture Partners as well as Credo Ventures and Dan Fougere. The round was also supported by European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The company plans to use the funds for product development and global expansion.
Tomas Kratky, founder, CEO and Manta are the leaders of Manta. Manta is an automated data-lineage platform which allows for a direct view of data environments. Manta creates a map that shows all data flows, transformations, sources and dependencies. This helps improve data governance and streamline migration projects.
This round ends as the company saw significant global growth in its platform and increased its global presence by opening new offices in Lisbon Portugal and Dublin Ireland. It now has five offices across North America, Europe, and 150+ employees around the world. The recent launch of its Release 36 delivers deep visibility into the most complex aspects of data pipelines with the migration to the Neo4j Graph Database.
