Seed funding of $100M was raised by Masterschool, a Tel Aviv-based provider of tech-career-training schools.
The round was led by Group 11, with participation from Target Global, Pitango Ventures, Dynamic Loop Capital, and Sir Ronald Cohen.
The company plans to use these funds to expand its network and increase the number schools in order to offer life-changing opportunities to a larger audience.
Masterschool was established in 2019 by Eran Gelicksman (CTO), RoiTzikorel (“Chief Of Impact”), Michael Shurp (CoCEOs), Otni Levi and Otni Livio (CoCEOs). It is a network consists of career-training schools that are data-driven to ensure students’ success at all stages of the process from the application stage, through job placement. Tech creators and industry professionals create schools and mentor promising students through the Masterschool network. The company also continuously analyzes technology and market trends, adjusting to course curricula and materials to meet the market and each student’s needs. It was established in 2019. Since then, graduates of dozens of Masterschools have been employed by many of the biggest tech companies including Google, Microsoft, Intel and more than twice their former salaries.
Masterschool has over 100 team members in Tel Aviv, New York, Berlin, and London.
