MedTrainer Raises $43M In Series B Funding


MedTrainer, a cloud-based solution that allows for healthcare credentialing and training in Los Angeles, CA was offered by, a Los Angeles-based company. The company raised $43m through Series B funding.

The round was led by Vista Equity Partners, with participation from existing investor Telescope Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Abhay Puskoor, Senior Vice President at Vista, will join MedTrainer’s Board of Directors.

The company intends use the funds to accelerate its development trajectory through talent acquisition and product expansion.

Founded in 2013 and led by Steve Gallion, CEO, MedTrainer provides a cloud-based software solution that drives revenues, streamlines workflows, and eases employee onboarding for more than 15,000 healthcare facilities and 300,000 healthcare professionals across North America.

In order to simplify compliance, the company is rapidly expanding its partner base which includes local associations and fortune 10 companies.
