Mentor Collective Raises $21M in Series A Funding

Mentor Collective is a Boston-based provider of structured, scalable mentorship programs. It raised $21m Series A funding.

Resolve Growth Partners led the round with Mentor Collective’s original thought partner, Lumina Foundation – an Indianapolis private foundation that is committed to providing learning opportunities beyond high school for all.

Mentor Collective was founded by Jackson Boyar in 2014. It is a high-impact provider of large-scale mentoring programs in higher education. Through expert-led research, technology, and services, the company has created more than 700 mentorship programs and 160 institutional partnerships. It also has 200,000 mentoring relationships.

Mentor Collective, a remote-first business founded in Boston, created more than 83,000 mentorships in 2021. This is more than the total number of mentorships over the past six years. The company has trained more than 50,000 mentors since its inception.
