MetaCompliance, a London, CA-based provider of a security awareness and compliance training platform, acquired Moch, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based cyber security and compliance provider.
The deal amount was not disclosed.
The acquisition underpins MetaCompliance’s ongoing growth in its core European market. This investment will allow the company to offer additional support to European customers, helping them to train their staff to be more alert to cyber security threats.
Founded in 1999 and led by Morten Ørsted and Christian Ravn, Moch is an EdTech company developing and selling SaaS compliance solutions to private and public companies. Moch has its own platform that is ISAE3000-certified and free from third-party rights (IPR). It allows the sale of standardised subscription-based solutions in compliance-related disciplines like Data Protection, Cyber and Information Security and Competition Law. Public and private sector organizations use the platform’s technology and training content to improve their vigilance against cyber security threats and show regulatory compliance.
Led by CEO Robert O’Brien, MetaCompliace is a cyber security and compliance specialist dedicated to helping organizations keep their staff safe online, secure their digital assets, and protect their corporate reputation since 2005. There are offices in London, Dublin and Porto, Atlanta and Birmingham. The company also has a support and development center in Derry/Londonderry.
