Qualcomm officials earlier confirmed that the Snapdragon8 Gen2processor was being prepared. This is because Qualcomm is not satisfied with the 4nm process yield.
TechnikNews reports that Motorola is currently working on Qualcomm’s flagship SoC codenamed SM8475 and Motorola Frontier (codenamed). Motorola Frontier’s HP1 sensor, which is 200MP from Samsung, is not only SM8475.
The S5KHP1 sensor from Samsung will be featured on Motorola’s new Frontier flagship. It has 200 megapixels. A 50 megapixel JN1 ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12 megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto cam, and a 60-megapixel front camera will also be included. This is OV60A, the same camera that was used in Moto Edge X30.
The source revealed that Frontier will offer 125W wired fast charge and 50W wireless fast chargers. The display will be 6.67 inches in diameter and support 144Hz. It also has 8GB + 128GB or 12GB +256GB memory options.
The Motorola Edge X30, priced at 2999 Yuan, is currently available in China. It is the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phone and comes with a 1080P display. The name of the new “Frontier”, which is yet to be revealed, is coming soon.
