Amazon now offers pre-orders for the Motorola-branded dongle, which was unveiled at CES last week and gives your car wireless Android Auto. If you are looking for the perfect wireless Android Auto experience to enhance your car’s performance, it is time to place your orders.
This is the official Motorola MA1 name. Motorola didn’t actually create this. This is one example of an instance where a random electronics manufacturer licenses the brand name because people are familiar with the Motorola name. They don’t know who Meizhou Guo Wei Electronics Co. Similar thing happened a few years ago with the relaunched Moto 360 line.
The MA1 USB adapter plugs into your car’s Android Auto port and gives your car wireless Android Auto. If that wasn’t obvious, your car will already have Android Auto. This adapter takes your current wired experience and turns it wireless. Please do not purchase this if your car does not have Android Auto.
After your device is plugged in, it pairs with the MA1 via Bluetooth. To transmit media, it also uses a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection. It sounds great!
Amazon claims that the MA1 will ship in January at 89.95 dollars.
