Noble Gas Systems, a Novi, MI-based company that supplies hydrogen gas storage tanks has raised $3.5M through Series A funding.
The round was led by AP Ventures.
The funds will be used by the company to commercialize its 350-bar (5,000 PSI) hydrogen storage systems as well as to accelerate the development of its 700bar (10,000 PSI) technology.
Noble Gas, headed by Chris Kondogiani as CEO, is a manufacturer and developer of high-pressure hydrogen storage tanks. These tanks can hold the majority of compressed gases including natural gas, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and air. The tank is made up of a protective outer shell, woven reinforcement, and a polymer liner.
Gas storage systems can be made in many shapes and sizes so that they can be integrated into existing products. This system is used not only in transportation but also in defense, aviation and the marine gas industries.
