OnePort 365, a Nigerian logistics startup, has been selected for the ODX Flexport program. This programme is run by Flexport and On Deck to help accelerate the next wave logistics startups around the globe.
Flexport, a customs brokerage and freight forwarding company based in the US was founded in 2013. On Deck is a startup accelerator. They co-run ODX Flexport. OnePort 365 was selected for this program, which provides funding and support to startups through a community-backed programme.
OnePort 365 is available in Nigeria and Ghana. It helps African cross-border traders manage freight through a digital freight management platform. This platform offers seamless digital access to all-inclusive freight forwarding and improves efficiency. It also lowers overheads for African companies.
The program, which includes Samurai Incubate as well as the CcHubSyndicate, will support the startup’s commitment to streamlining trade for African cross-border traders. It will use technology to automate and structure freight management processes.
We are well aware of the difficulties involved in dealing with import and export of goods from these parts of the world. The process can be complex and we deal with many exporters every day. Hio Sola Usidame, co-founder of the company, stated that our goal is to bring about a fundamental change that increases Africa’s participation with global trade.
