Opendatasoft Raises $25M in Funding

Opendatasoft, a leader in data democratization platforms based in Paris, France, has closed a $25m funding round.


Demeter led the round through its Paris Fonds Vert fund. Existing investors included Banque des Territoires and ODYSSEE Ventures were also present. Eiffel Investment Group was two of the new backers.

The company plans to use the funds for scaling its operations, increasing international and vertical market growth, strengthening its presence in North America through expanding its Boston office, and boosting activities in Australia, Europe and elsewhere, including in new vertical markets such as healthcare and retail.

Jean-Marc Lazard is the CEO and co-founder of Opendatasoft. Opendatasoft offers a SaaS platform that allows teams to quickly create digital experiences using their data, and then share them with other members. Customers can use this platform to speed up digital transformation, develop new products and improve their relationships with stakeholders.

Opendatasoft has been adopted by more than 300 organizations worldwide. These include large companies such as Schneider Electric and Groupe BPCE.
