Castor Paris raises $23.5 Million Series A round funding

Castor, a Paris-based AI-powered platform powered by Castor has raised $23.5 Million in funding.

The Series A round was led by Blossom and backed by previous investor Frst and a number of high-profile angel investors such as Florian Douetteau, founder of Dataiku.

AI-powered platform enables companies to efficiently find, understand and utilize their data assets.

Companies collect a lot of data, but they struggle to scale it up efficiently.

Data analysts often create identical dashboards for each market they enter, despite not having the right data discovery tools.

Castor will use the funds to grow its U.S. sales and marketing team. It has offices in San Francisco, New York, and has seen a 40% increase in monthly revenue over the past twelve months.

Founded by Tristan Mayer, Xavier de Boisredon, Amaury Dumoulin, and Arnaud de Turckheim, the platform is disrupting the way companies find and understand their data.

Castor claims that its platform is friendly, collaborative, easy-to-use and provides real-time updates to maintain data health and allow customers to be onboarded in under an hour.
