Pipedream Closes $20M Series A Funding Round


Pipedream, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an integration platform for developers, raised $20M in Series A funding.

True Ventures was the leader of the round. Felicis Ventures, CRV and World Innovation Lab were all part of it. In addition, more than 20 executives representing top software companies participated in the round.

The company plans to use the funds for growth and expansion.

Pipedream, headed by Tod Sacerdoti (CEO), is an integration platform and compute platform that developers can use to build workflows and connect cloud services. Pipedream lets developers leverage over 700 pre-built integration applications. They can also write their own Node.js and Python or Go code to add custom logic to the integrations. It’s open-source and any member of its over 300,000. the user community can contribute to it. Developers have processed over 5 billion events in 500,000 workflows. This connects applications like Airtable, Amazon Web Services, GitHub, Slack and Snowflake.

Pipedream 2.0 will be made public by the company. It includes multi-language support (including Node. Python. Golang. and Bash), Data Stores that store and retrieve data across multiple steps and workflows and single sign-on (SSO). Brex, Checkr and Scale AI are key customers.
