PlanRadar Raises $69M in Series B Funding

PlanRadar, an Austria-based digital field management platform that enables construction and real estate projects to be managed from a single location in Vienna, Austria, has raised $69m through Series B funding.

Insight Partners led the round with Quadrille Capital, Headline Ventures and Berliner Volksbank Ventures. New investors Proptech1, Russmedia and GR Capital also participated.

The funds will be used by the company to increase international expansion and technological innovation. New offices are planned to open in the United States of America, Australia, the Gulf Cooperation Council, Southeast Asia and Latin America. They also plan to boost R&D investment and create a new tech hub. A dedicated product innovation team will bring new technology to the SaaS platform. PlanRadar will create more than 200 jobs worldwide, almost doubling its global headcount in the next 12 months.

PlanRadar, which is led by Sander van der Rijdt and Ibrahim Imam, is a cloud-based SaaS field manager solution that allows for communication and documentation in construction and real-estate projects. It can be used to manage faults and tasks, maintenance, building inspections and construction documentation. A web application, or app for all Android, iOS, and Windows smartphones and tablets, allows teams to share digital floor plans and BIM models, communicate, track, and track any information. More than 14500 customers in 60+ countries can now track, connect and solve all Construction and Real Estate related projects around the world.
